These tests are performed to determine whether the hydraulic system , safety systems and structural mechanisms are operating in a normal manner. Placed on a hard level surface, the aerial apparatus is taken through a sequence of operational cycles. Any abnormal condition will be noted.
	The Inspection Report will document a detailed list of all components tested and inspected. Some Areas of inspection are as follows: 1.  Outriggers and Controls 2.  Turntables and Controls 3.  Platforms and Controls Structure 4.  Ladder Sections Components Structure 5.  Boom Components 6.  Complete Hydraulic Systems 7.  Interlock and Safety Systems
